Public Television was always meant to be open access to community stories, video content distribution and broader community-based communications. We now have the technology to provide a public access video network to our community of content creators, and their respective audiences to enable them to tell their stories on an online television network.
The Public Place Network is a digital platform, a gathering place where members of the community can tell their stories and share information with the greater public. The Public Place is a robust online OTT platform that provides a voice to members of the community whose stories and messages have been under-represented and have failed to meet the monetary mandates of traditional television content models. A place for community content where conglomerates can no longer determine type of content and/or distribution of valuable community-based stories and messages.
